Xavier College Preparatory is an all-girls Catholic high school in Phoenix. This is an independent family fundraiser, not an official Xavier campaign.

Get your Arizona tax credit

Support scholarships through a certified School Tuition Organization (STO) and potentially receive an Arizona state income-tax credit.

$1,571 single / head of household / married filing separately
  1. Choose a certified STO that provides scholarships to Xavier students.
  2. Make your contribution through the STO. If the organization allows recommendations, recommend student: Riley Gardner.
  3. Save your donation receipt for your tax return. STO scholarship decisions are independent and recommendations do not guarantee an award.

Direct Venmo payments go to Jenn Gardner, not to an STO. They do not qualify for the Arizona private-school tuition tax credit.
Important: A qualifying STO makes scholarship decisions independently. A recommendation does not bind the organization to award a scholarship to a specific student. Conditional gifts and reciprocal donation swaps do not qualify for this Arizona tuition tax credit.

How to claim the state tax credit.

These steps apply to qualifying STO contributions, not payments made directly to the student or family.

  1. Donate to a certified STO and save the dated contribution receipt.
  2. File your Arizona income-tax return. The original private-school STO credit is generally claimed with Arizona Form 323.
  3. If eligible to claim an additional certified STO credit, review Arizona Form 348; you must first claim the maximum original credit.
  4. Check the relevant tax year's limits, deadlines, and carryforward rules. The credit is nonrefundable, so your Arizona income-tax liability matters.
